Job Description:
" Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and understanding their unique requirements.
" Conduct thorough analysis of client needs to inform project specifications and system requirements.
" Lead and manage subcontractor relationships, overseeing all contractual agreements and procurement activities.
" Guide and direct a team of engineers, managing work plans, delivery timelines, and ensuring the highest quality of work.
" Develop and implement solutions to complex engineering problems, ensuring they are both effective and feasible for deployment.
" Organize, lead, and participate in Design Review sessions and contractual discussions, ensuring alignment with project goals.
" Coordinate acceptance and delivery procedures with various stakeholders, both domestically and internationally.
" Provide comprehensive reports to the Director of Engineering and Project Manager, detailing project progress and outcomes.
Job Qualifications:
" Bachelors degree in Electrical, Aerospace, Mechanical, Computer, or Software Engineering is required. Candidates with a Bachelors in Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science, coupled with relevant experience, will also be considered.
" A Masters degree in Systems, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering is highly desirable.
" A minimum of two years of direct experience in research and development roles, or equivalent academic exposure.
" At least two years of experience in a Systems Engineer, Technical Manager, or Technical Product Manager role within a technology-focused organization.
" Proficiency in MS Office suite, including MS Project, is essential.
" Exceptional leadership and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
" Prior experience with Aerospace, Military, C4I, or C2 system design and development will be viewed favourably.
" Possession of a valid Level 3 Security Clearance is beneficial.
