About the job:
Design, plan, productize and maintain reliable and scalable data infrastructure applications in complex environments such as High Throughput Computing cluster and a real time financial data monitoring portal
Provide other teams with self service capabilities to consume, ingest, transform and integrate data with other systems
Actively manage large scale cross team data projects
Help continuously improve our engineering processes and practices and provide frequent and actionable feedback to team members
Job Qualifications:
· 7+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on Big Data ( terabytes and beyond)
· 3+ years of experience in C#, python and SQL databases
· 2+ years of formal engineering management experience
· BSc in Computer Science or equivalent software engineering practical background
· Can-do mentality, intellectual curiosity, self-motivation, and ability to communicate within and across teams to innovate solutions to ambiguous
problems
