Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Team Leader with Tech Lead capabilities to join our QA group, overseeing a team of 5 QA engineers.
As the Team Leader, you'll be responsible for ensuring the quality of our projects, planning the team's workflow, keeping an eye on progress, conducting performance evaluations, and providing guidance and training to foster continuous improvement within the team. You will also be responsible for providing technical leadership to the team. This includes staying up-to-date with what is developed in the Infrastructure initiative and assisting the team with their Automation tasks.
What you’ll do:
Lead 5 QA engineers across 2 initiatives from both management and technical point of view.
Drive the definition of team objectives and actively support employee development.
Collaborating with all teams within the business unit: Development, Product, Professional Services, Architecture, DevOps, etc.
Risk management, planning and prioritization.
Supporting the team's productivity by removing any roadblocks that may impede their progress.
Participating in the QA recruiting and onboarding processes.
Job Qualifications:
At least 2-3 years of experience managing Manual/Automation QA teams.
Proven experience in Manual and Automation Testing (using Python)
Experience working with DevOps teams by using the following tools (or similar): Jenkins (CI/CD pipelines), AWS, Git
Proven expertise in testing client/server and web-based applications.
Proficiency in writing comprehensive testing documentation.
Thorough familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle within an Agile environment.
Logical and analytical skills.
Previous experience in the fin-tech field (banking, insurance, etc.) - an advantage
Background in mathematics, statistics, or economics - an advantage
English proficiency
